I have an antique iron headboard that has been sitting in the backyard for quite some time. I painted it a cream color and have left it sitting in the elements in hopes that it would rust and wear naturally. That isn't happening so I think I will force the process with some good old fashioned paint remover.

Anyway, I would love to have a frame built for it and turn it into an outdoor bed. Maybe something like this...

Oh my we have something else in common. I am working on one too. I will post one for you to see as soon as we finish it. I think every one should have an outdoor napping space.
I have always wanted one. When I was growing up, my grandmother had a daybed on her (enclosed) front porch. It was just the best place to lie and read and listen to the raindrops on the roof.

Oh my goodness - this is heaven! I must and neeeed to get me an outdoor napping spot. I did pike cushions and quilts on the trampoline one night last summer but now I've seen this pic it just won't do!
I so need a little bed for our back porch. xo (What gorgeous images)
Those both look so cozy. I could use a little nappy right now. It's been a long day.
