Vintage Silverware

I adore vintage silverware. I don't actually own any, but I want to! I'm always on the look out for a good deal when I'm at the junk store, but have yet to score. I just received the new Napa Style catalog (which I never purchase from because it's way too expensive). I guess Michael has started to carry a line of "Vintage Silverware by the Pound".

Here's the lowdown on the silverware:These authentic vintage utensils date back to the ’ 20s and ’30s—all fine-quality, silver-plated, and newly polished to perfection. They’re gathered from estate sales, vintage markets and antique stores all over the US and Europe. And so what if the pieces don’t match? That’s half the fun! It’s a true celebration of life—the second time around—and a most meaningful form of sustainability. Hand wash for better preservation. Patterns and dimensions will vary.

What do you think, are you in to vintage silverware? Would you use it, or just display?

Yes, I adore vintage silverware. I would definitely use it! In fact, I do use it! :-) Only wish I had more of these pieces. ~ Sarah
