New Anthropologie Catalog!

Yesterday after we arrived home from our Seattle trip (it was great!), I was so excited to receive the new issue of Anthropologie. I love their catalog, but going into their stores (which I do in every city I go that I can actually find one) is pure inspiration. My purchases usually consist of one sale item or candle, being inspired is what I love best.

love, love this room- especially the color of the sofa...
there is absolutely nothing better than a brick wall- with mirrors...
these lights are so industrial- they look even better in person...

I love white bedding with a couple of colorful accent pillows...

love the chairs and rugs too...

Hope all of you are doing well!

NOT Bathing Suit Ready

It seems like all winter I long for summer, feeling like it just can't get here soon enough. Then all the sudden I realize it's going to be here in no time, and once again I feel like I'm not quite ready to slip into a bathing suit. How does this happen? I have had plenty of time to prepare, yet once again I am in search of the bathing suit that will hide the numerous flaws. Well I think this year I will once again rely on a cover up! That being said I hopped over to Anthropologie to see what they have to offer in that department and here is what I found...

The three shown here are:

Sea Nettle Cover-Up $128

Kimono Cover-Up $148

Oeiras Chemise the most affordable of the three at $78

I'm sure as usual I will find a much less expensive option, but it still nice to see what's out there!

Summer Shoe

I have been looking for a new pair of summer shoes to wear with those blue jeans I told you about yesterday. I also wanted a pair for the sundresses I plan to wear to early evening dinners with my husband ( as I am not a late nighter-ha!ha!). Anywho- I am like a lot of women out there- and love Anthropologie, but really... who can afford that store- it's definitely a place I frequent for inspiration, but that's about it. So I happen to love wedges and came across these two pairs on Anthropologie. One pair was over $200 and the other was over $300. Now seriously- who can afford to spend that much money on one pair of sandals- Yikes!

I decided to search good old Target- and these are the shoes I found (and purchased). I know they are not a wedge, but I still think they are similar enough to the style / look I was after and the best part of all.... they are $29.99. Here is the link: Mossimo Peace Heeled Sandal.
