My friend Barb at Knack Studios does fabulous work! She takes old pieces of furniture and brings them to life again. Their new lives come complete with perfectly matched names. One of Barb's latest pieces "Maude" will be featured on Design Sponge before and after!!! In case you aren't familiar with Barb's work, I thought I would give you a small sampling of what this talented girl can do!

"Miss Pearl Pink"

"1,2,3,4 Seats"

Make sure to contact Barb asap if you want to snag one of these pieces- they won't last for long! But, the good news is - if one these pieces is gone, another fabulous piece will replace it!

Can you believe it is already the middle of the week! I'm so excited because in two days I will be on my way to Seattle to relax, but more importantly to attend Urban Craft Uprising! I can't wait to see what new and exciting things people are creating, plus I get sooo inspired!

For today's etsy post, I wanted to share the work of a new blogger friend of mine, Mimi Charmante. Not only do I love her work, but love her blog! The additional two etsy picks of the week I was lucky enough to locate through Mimi's blog! Enjoy!

~love the linen necklace and hairpin from Mimi, and love the photo of the beached boat too! ~

~~~Little Bluebird Studio has some beautiful photos- just love 'em!~~~
~~~~Love the great vintage finds from Little Byrd Vintage!~~~~

Remember to shop Etsy!

I love succulents! Just can't get enough of 'em! I think it's the variation in color, their rustic nature, the fact that they don't take much water... whatever it is - they make me smile.
Here are some images I found via various wedding sites.
I especially love this first photo for the rusted candle holder- along with the succulents- perfection!

lovin this photo for the use of a log in addition to the succulents. I have an abundance of logs in my home. Just love 'em, love 'em, love 'em.
These bouquets and cake decor are absolutely lovely.

Have a happy happy!

Make It Monday! Homemade Business Cards

Hellooooo Friends!

What a busy weekend I had! Now it's Monday, and I am busy-busy trying to put together lots of new bracelets for a small show I am doing in my area. I don't have a business card as of yet, and I don't want to spend the money to have them professionally done. So... I created my own this weekend.

Here is a pic of the front and back of the card~

a close-up of the front~

and, a close-up of the back~

I know they aren't perfect, but I think they will work out just fine for now. Have any of you created your own business cards? I'd love to see them if you have!

Food Friday! Berry Desserts!

It's Food Friday, and I'm craving berry desserts. Found all of these yummy recipes via Martha Stewart. I have lots of fresh berries in my fridge... so I am sure I will be able to make at least one of these and eat it ALL myself!
